During DFM and mold development, particular attention is given to uniform dark appearance and surface texture, secure enclosure joints and fastening points, and accurate openings for connectors and indicators. Material options include ABS, PC/ABS, PC, PA, POM, PMMA and other engineering resins selected for function and appearance. Final resin selection is confirmed against the customer’s functional, appearance, compliance and cost requirements.
